Rusheen Bay Windsurfing is the premier windsurfing school in the West of Ireland. Situated just 5 minutes from Galway city, we are based in an enclosed bay, perfect for beginners, with calm waters and prevailing cross-onshore winds.

Opening Hours

Rusheen Bay Windsurfing is open from the first weekend in April until the last weekend in September.

April, May and September
Monday to Friday 17.00-20.30
Saturday and Sunday 09.30-18.00

June, July and August
Monday to Friday 09.30-21.00
Saturday and Sunday 09.30-18.00

Session Times for lessons

Adult classes

Monday to friday 18.00

Saturday and Sunday 2 or 3pm

Session Times for kids club

Monday to friday 18.00

Saturday and Sunday 10am to 1pm
